For position 1, applicants must be matured men and must have attempted the West African School Certificate Examination.

For positions 2-8, 13 & 14, applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate and the Class III, II & I Craftsman Trade Test from the Federal Ministry of Labour while applicants for the post of Assistant Craftsman must possess the Class III Trade Test from the Federal Ministry of Labour in the appropriate trade.  All applicants for posts 2-14 must, in addition to the educational and professional qualifications, have at least two years of cognate experience in the relevant post.

For positions 9 & 10, applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate and Class III, II & I Craftsman Trade Test from the Federal Ministry of Labour.  Possession of Advanced National Business & Technical Examinations Board Certificate (NABTEB) will be an added advantage.


For positions 11 & 12, applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate and Class III, II & I Craftsman Trade Test from the Federal Ministry of Labour.

Applicants for the post Dietetic Assistant should also have Catering School Certificate with a minimum of two years experience or School Certificate with experience as a Therapeutic Dietetic Cook.

Applicants for the post of Motor Driver/Mechanic must possess valid Class ‘C’ Driver’s License plus a minimum educational qualification of Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate.

For position 15, applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate.

For position 16, applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate with four credits at one sitting or five credits at two sittings.

For position 17 & 18, applicants should possess SSCE or GCE (O/L) with five passes including English Language. Applicants must have successfully completed the two-year training programme for Health Assistants in the School of Health Technology or any other approved Health institution and obtained the National Certificate for Health Assistant cadre.

For position 19, applicants should possess SSCE or GCE (O/L) with five passes including English Language.

For position 20, applicants should possess SSCE or GCE (O/L) with three credits at one sitting and four credits at two sittings.  He/She must have successfully completed a 2-year training programme in the School of Health Technology or any other approved Health institution and obtained the National Certificate for
Health Assistant cadre.

For position 21, applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate with four credits at one sitting or five credits at two sittings plus evidence of training in either the Nigerian Police or any of the disciplined services.  Matured people without the requisite qualification may also apply.

For position 22, applicants must possess SSCE or GCE (O/L) with four credits at one sitting or five credits at two sittings plus 35 words per minute in Typewriting.

For position 23, applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate with four credits plus Certificate of Anaesthetic Technician.

For position 24, applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate with four credits plus Ordinary National Diploma in Orthotics/Prosthetics Technician.  Previous experience in Orthotic appliance training will be an advantage.

For position 25, applicants must possess any of the following:

(i)                The National Certificate of the Nigerian Health Records Association/Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria;
(ii)              Ordinary National Diploma in Health Information Management from any recognized Institution.

Applicants for positions 26 and 27 must possess either the Full Technological Certificate (Craft) of the City & Guilds Institute of London in Electrical/Mechanical or the possession of Ordinary National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

For position 28, applicants must possess SSCE or GCE (O/L) with three credits at one sitting or four credits at two sittings. He/She must also possess Ordinary National Diploma in any Social Sciences from a recognized institution.

For position 29, applicants must possess SSCE or GCE (O/L) with three credits at one sitting or four credits at two sittings. He/She must also possess Ordinary National Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized institution.

For position 30, applicants must possess SSCE or GCE (O/L) with four credits at one sitting or five credits at two sittings plus 50 words per minute in Typewriting.

For position 31, applicants must possess Medical Laboratory Technician Certificate and be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).  In addition applicants must also possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate/West African School Certificate with four (4) credits at one sitting or five credits at two sittings.

For position 32, applicants must possess either General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two subjects passed at one sitting or three subjects at two sittings preferably including Mathematics or Ordinary National Diploma in Statistics obtained from a recognized institution.

For position 33, applicants must possess OND in Purchasing & Supply obtained from a recognized institution.

For position 34, applicants must possess WASC/NECO with five credits including English and Mathematics plus certificate in Library Studies obtained from a recognized institution and at least 2 years post qualification cognate experience.

For post 35, applicants for the post of Confidential Secretary Grade III should possess SSCE or GCE (O/L) with four credits at one sitting or five credits at two sittings plus Shorthand and Typewriting at 80 & 35 words per minute or OND in Secretarial Administration respectively from a recognized Secretarial/Technical Institution.

SALARY
For positions 1 – 8, 13- 15 & 18  - CONHESS 02/03 i. e. N271,423.00 – N397,238.00  p. a. & N283,969.00 –N435,098.00 p. a.

For positions 9 – 12, 16, 17 & 19- 21 – CONHESS 03 i. e. N283,969.00 – N435,098.00 p.a.

For positions 22, 23 & 24 – CONHESS 04 i. e. N320,786.00 – N496,438.00 p.a.

For positions 25- 35 – CONHESS 05 i. e. N389,519.00 – N603,565.00 p.a.
